Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land
Protests, demonstrations and rallies will be conducted around the world this weekend as this week brings the fortieth anniversary of the Israeli Six Day War. During this week in 1967, Israel seized land from Syria, Jordan, Egypt and began its occupation of the Palestinian Territories Gaza and the West Bank. The Israeli occupation of Palestine has continued to this day, defying UN Resolutions while continuing to build settlements on Palestinian lands and it will be the focus of the activities taking place this weekend. We have posted the entire film "Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land" by the Media Foundation. This film takes a close look at Israeli-American ties and how it affects the media coverage Americans recieve from the Middle East.
